"Heal what can be healed, ease what cannot, learn from every patient and every mistake, and ensure that knowledge and compassion are never in short supply."
From the journal of Thadieus Morgaine
17th of the Sixth Astral Moon, Fifth Astral Era
The first thing a visitor notices when arriving at Silvertide Sanctum is the sea.The Sanctum sits along one of the quieter streets of the Mists, where the sound of waves with their glittering silver foamy caps rolling against the shoreline carries easily across the white stone terraces. The Sanctum's architecture bears the unmistakable influence of Limsa Lominsa: pale stone, rounded arches, tiled roofs, broad balconies, and a open courtyard designed to catch the sea breeze.Yet there is something distinctly different about Silvertide. It does not have the boisterous character of nearby adventuring company buildings. There are no training dummies surrounded by battered weapons, no rowdy gatherings spilling drinks across the outdoor patio, and little evidence of the sort of revelry commonly associated with Lominsan life.Instead, Silvertide Sanctum's grounds have been designed to feel peaceful.Low stone walls divide the property into a series of gardens and courtyards. Climbing vines and flowering plants soften the pale masonry, while carefully tended medicinal herbs grow alongside more ornamental greenery. Small signs identify many of the plants, some marked with notes regarding their medicinal properties—a subtle indication that even the gardens serve a purpose. Groundskeepers and Botantist are seen working hand in hand to ensure growth.A broad pathway leads from the entrance toward the main building. Visitors will frequently encounter healers arriving and leaving, apprentices carrying books or baskets of herbs, and patients being escorted outdoors for fresh air and sunlight. The atmosphere is here is busy, but rarely hurried.

The Main HallAt the center of the estate stands the Sanctum proper, a large Riviera-style building with sweeping balconies and tall windows overlooking the sea.The entrance opens into a spacious reception area. A large desk to the right serves as the first point of contact for visitors, patients, prospective students, and healers seeking assistance. Visitors are greeted and given direction to various departments within the Sanctum.A discreet sign near the entrance directs visitors toward the various departments:SANCTUARY — APOTHECARY — ATHENAEUM — STUDIUM — OUTREACH CORPSThe main hall is deliberately welcoming. Comfortable chairs reside for those waiting to be seen, while shelves hold pamphlets and informational materials concerning common ailments, first aid, recovery practices, and upcoming public lectures. A small childrens area awaits the little ones, easing fears and offering comfort. The scent of the place is distinctive: salt air, clean linen, dried herbs, faint traces of aetherical and alchemical ingredients.
The Silverleaf ApothecaryLocated just up the southeast stairs in the Main Hall is the Apothecary, which is open to the public.Unlike the more private medical areas, this portion of the main building feels much like an ordinary shop. Visitors can browse shelves filled with labeled bottles, jars of dried herbs, salves, tinctures, restorative tonics, and potions.Behind the counter is where the company's alchemists prepare specialized medicines.A small consultation room allows customers to speak privately with a alchemist on duty about their needs, particularly when a simple potion may not be the appropriate answer. The Alchemist will refer the patient to a Healer if they feel the need is necessary. The Apothecary's location in the Main Hall makes it easier for the public to visit without needing to enter the more private portions of the Sanctum.

The Healing SanctuaryOne wing of the estate is devoted to patient care.Rather than resembling a cold infirmary, the recovery rooms are designed more like quiet seaside accommodations. Large windows allow patients to see the ocean, and balconies provide spaces where those well enough can sit outdoors. Some rooms are intended for short-term recovery, while others accommodate patients requiring weeks or even months of care. There is a communal sitting room, potted plants aplenty, quiet reading nooks, and sheltered terraces where patients can spend time away from their beds.A particularly peaceful courtyard is reserved for those who need solitude. A shallow fountain occupies its center, its gentle sound helping to mask conversations and activity elsewhere on the grounds.
The ClinicThe Silvertide Clinic serves as the Sanctum's primary point of care for those who require medical attention but do not need to remain within the sanctuary for extended recovery. Located off the main hall's waiting room, the clinic allows patients to receive treatment while maintaining the quieter, more private areas of the Sanctuary. The clinic is designed to feel welcoming rather than intimidating. Sunlight filters through tall windows, illuminating clean white walls, polished wood, and comfortable seating. Shelves hold medical supplies, commonly used remedies, and neatly labeled jars of herbs. The faint scent of antiseptic preparations and medicinal plants hangs in the air, softened by the ever-present breeze from the sea.
Treatment & Consultation
Anyone visiting the Sanctuary or the Clinic may be seen for a wide variety of concerns, from minor injuries and illnesses to more complicated conditions requiring continued observation.Healers conduct examinations, provide treatments, administer restorative magic, and prescribe medicines or tonics as appropriate. Those recovering from injuries may also receive instructions for at-home care, including rest, exercises, dietary recommendations, wound care, or follow-up treatments.Silvertide's practitioners work closely with the Apothecary, allowing prescriptions and specialized medicines to be prepared on-site when needed.
Follow-Up Care
A visit does not necessarily end when the patient walks out the door.Patients requiring continued attention may be scheduled for follow-up appointments, allowing healers to monitor their progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Those whose conditions become more serious can be referred to the Sanctuary.Likewise, patients who have completed their stay within the Sanctuary may return to the clinic periodically to ensure their recovery continues properly once they have resumed their normal lives.
A Place for Everyone
Silvertide is open to members of the Sanctum and the general public alike. Adventurers returning from an expedition, local residents with an illness, travelers suffering an injury, or someone simply seeking professional advice can all seek assistance here.No prior connection to the Sanctum is required.

The AthenaeumLocated in the West wing is the Athenaeum, Silvertide's research department. Its architecture is somewhat more imposing than the rest of the estate: tall windows, extensive bookshelves, covered walkways, and several rooms devoted to experimentation and research. The wing of the building is rarely silent. The scratching of quills, turning pages, quiet conversation, and the occasional clink of alchemical glassware can usually be heard from within.Shelves contain medical texts, journals, botanical references, records of unusual injuries, aetherological studies, and reports brought back by members of the Outreach Corps—each carefully labeled and catalogued.A central reading room provides space for researchers to work, while smaller rooms are used for collaborative studies.
The StudiumAlong the corridor of the West wing is a large lecture hall that serves as the center of the Studium, with smaller classrooms branching from it. Chalkboards, anatomical diagrams, botanical samples, practice equipment, and carefully arranged medical instruments can be found throughout. On any given day, visitors might encounter:A healer demonstrating basic first aid.
An alchemist explaining the safe preparation of a restorative tonic.
A conjurer discussing the principles of aetherial healing.
A chirurgeon giving an anatomy lecture.
An astrologian explaining the relationship between celestial phenomena and aether.
An experienced adventurer recounting lessons learned from treating injuries in the field. The Studium gives the Sanctum the feeling of a living institution rather than simply a private Free Company.

The Outreach CorpsJust outside, nestled behind the main building and surrounded by gardens is main office the Outreach Corps, where the Silvertide's teams prepare for expeditions. The Corps are comprised of members from every disiplne; healing, craftspeople, adventurers alike. Part of the Outreach Corps is like an emergency response team, bringing Silvertide's services to the field in time of need. Another part works as field research and expeditions. Another part answers requests from outside sources. The experts in the Outreach Corps are always ready!Travel packs, medical supplies, portable alchemical equipment, tents, crates, and field instruments are stored here. Chocobos and pack animals may be brought through the courtyard to the stables near by and returning members frequently unload unusual ingredients or supplies gathered during their travels within the office where everything is processed before being distributed to the relative departments.A large cork board near the entrance lists current expeditions, destinations, requests for medical assistance, and reports from Corps members currently abroad.Compared to the tranquililty in the main building, this portion of the Sanctum has a distinctly more lively and adventurous flare.

What is Silvertide's IC Philosophy?
Healing does not end when the wound is closed. True recovery takes time, knowledge, and care.
What is Silvertide's IC Lore?
There once was a Viera named Tove Paharo, who after leaving her jungle home, lived in Gridania for many years, studying at the Fane and peddling her wares. When she learned of Ishgard, she traveled to the snowy mountains and was taken in by the Morgaine family. She was able to studied various disciplines of healing under the Morgaines until the passing of the old Master Merrith. From Ishgard, Tove traveled to Vylbrand and fell in love with the sunswept isle. What drew her the most was the silver foam capped waves hitting the beach. The sound was soothing and she felt at home. So with her adopted family's blessing, she opened a small apothecary and clinic called Silvertide. At first the sanctum was small since it was just Tove as the only healer. Then after calamities fell here and there, her patient base began to swell. Tove, being on the verge of burnout, she knew she needed help. She reached out to the Maelstrom and took on an apprentice. Soon word spead and before long, Tove knew she had to expand again - there were just too many people who needed help. Even Healers themselves needed rest so Tove had a place of respite built and ever since it has expanded. Now as Eorzea rebuilds once again, Tove is looking for other to join her cause in providing care for all life found on the Star.
What sort of members is Silvertide looking for?
From an IC standpoint, the company employs members from many walks of life, not just those practicing healing. While the Sanctum employs practitioners of every discipline of healing to serve its patients, the Sanctum also relies heavily upon non-healing experts of all skills to ensure the wellbeing of the Sanctum's people and the Star.Because the FC's structure is so diverse, just about any character can find a place within. Your character does not need to be a healer to join. We will find a place for you and your character. If you have an idea not listed anywhere on this carrd, feel free to reach out and share. From an OOC standpoint, the FC is looking for members who enjoy RP and playing the game without too many restrictions. Players looking for a relaxed atmosphere, to be able to participate in IC activites that are not all combat related, require a skill sheet or to be on VC all the time will fit well. The whole point of this FC is to provide a place for you and your character to belong and do the things you enjoy while playing the game. For the sake of transparency , since the FC is new, it's going to take a bit for a rythym to get established while all the bugs are being stepped on.Thanks for reading all this!xoxo
